About NordMap
NordMap is an interactive atlas of the Nordic Region — Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, together with the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland. It brings together regional statistics on demography, the labour market, the economy and the environment in a single, explorable map.
Our mission
We make Nordic regional data easier to understand. By turning municipal and NUTS-level indicators into clear, comparable maps, we help researchers, policymakers, journalists and curious citizens see how the Region is changing.
Data sources
Indicators are based on open data published by national statistical offices and harmonised by Nordregio, the leading Nordic research centre for regional development and planning.
